Privacy Policy

Salt ("we", "us") operates getsalt.live and the Salt executor. Contact: open a ticket in our Discord at dsc.gg/getsalt.

Website: IP address, browser HWID fingerprint, user-agent, page path, and timestamps for every visit. Account: email, password hash (handled by our auth provider), display name, optional avatar. Executor: machine HWID (hardware fingerprint), key used, IP, timestamps. Payments: handled by the payment provider — we never see your card. We do not buy or sell personal data.

To run the key system (bind a key to your machine), to detect and prevent abuse (multi-account farming, ban evasion, brute force), to enforce bans, to provide login/signup, and to give you support when you ask.

We use your browser's localStorage to store: your auth session, your generated browser HWID fingerprint, the 'I'm Sorry' flag from the warn page, and your selected theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Linkvertise / Lootlabs ad gateways set their own cookies on their own domains — read their policies if you use the ad route to get a free key.

Visit logs: 90 days, then deleted. Bans: until manually lifted. Active keys: until they expire or you delete them. Account data: until you request deletion. Backups: rolling 30-day window before they are overwritten.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated keys. Deletion removes your profile, your keys, and your owned bans (visit logs may be retained for fraud prevention for up to 90 days, anonymised). To request, open a Discord ticket.

We do not sell your data. We share only with: the database host that stores our tables, the payment provider that processes purchases, and the ad gateway you choose to use for a free 24h key. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect Salt's infrastructure from attack.

Salt is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

If we materially change this policy, the 'Last updated' date below changes and significant changes are announced in Discord. Continued use after a change means you accept the new policy.
